If you own a WordPress website, you need to not only be updating WordPress, it’s themes and plugins regularly, you also need to make sure you have a quality security plugin installed and have the know-how to identify issues and resolve them.

You also need to be making regular backups of your site, as well as being ready and able to troubleshoot any problems that may arise. All of this can take up hours of your precious time. Frequently asked questions
<strong>01</strong> How many sites are included in each plan?
All of our maintenance plans are for one website only. You can sign up multiple times for more than one website, or if you have a lot of websites needing monthly maintenance, please contact us to discuss your options.
<strong>02</strong> What do I need to provide once I sign up?
You will need to provide login details for your WordPress website with administrator privileges. If we need anything else, we will let you know.
<strong>03</strong> What are my payment options?
All of our monthly maintenance plans are processed via Strip checkout using your credit card details. If you wish to cancel your monthly subscription, then please contact us at least 3 business days prior to your next payment to ensure you don’t pay for the next month.
<strong>04</strong> Can I sign up for just one month?
Yes. Our month by month plans have no contract. You can cancel your plan at any time within the first month, or before the next due date in subsequent months. Please be aware though that newly signed up websites need to be in a reasonable maintainable standard before signing up. As with all our new sign-ups, if significant work needs to be done to bring your website up to a maintainable standard, then we will advise of the cost before undertaking the work.
<strong>05</strong> How frequently will you update my website?
Depending on the maintenance plan you signed up for, WordPress, themes and plugins will be updated on a monthly, fortnightly or weekly basis.

For any major WordPress, theme or plugin updates we will usually wait a couple of weeks for all the bugs to be ironed out before applying these updates. If any issues arise that require an urgent update we will take care of this.

<strong>06</strong> How often will you backup my site?
Depending on the maintenance plan you signed up for, Your WordPress installation will be backed up on a monthly, fortnightly or daily basis.

If in the unfortunate event, your site is compromised or goes offline due to serious issues, we can have your site restored to its most recent backup very quickly.

<strong>07</strong> What happens if a WordPress update breaks my site?
No problems. Your website will be rolled back to the last stable backup before the problems arose. From time to time WordPress plugin updates (especially e-commerce functionality) can break a website. Our regular website updates are all checked prior to updating for compatibility issues though. If something does happen, and your site breaks, we can get you back up very quickly.

Please note that if your website breaks due to custom plugins or issues that arise because of end-users, there may be a fee involved in fixing the issue. If this issue does arise, we will always contact you before charging any fees to you.

<strong>08</strong> Will signing up fix my current website problems?
Once you sign up to a plan, we will get your login details and do a thorough audit of your site. If the issue is fairly straightforward and falls within the bounds of the maintenance plan, we will be able to fix your problems on the day. If the issue is more complex, we will advise you of the problem, and costs involved before the plan can commence.

<strong>09</strong> What if my site is already broken or offline?
If your site is already broken get in touch with us here ASAP and we’ll take a look at your website issue/s and give you an idea of what needs to be done to fix it, how long it will take, and an approximate estimate of charges.
<strong>10</strong> Do you offer website migrations between web hosts?
Website migrations are not included in our maintenance plans. If you require a website migration from one web host to another, then these are charged at a one-off fee of $129.00, and are usually completed on the day requested.
